Project Kyatsu
Project Kyatsu is a collaboration between Kyande and tsuva, bringing the playful brand kyatsu.don to life. Inspired by the Japanese dish katsu-don and cats, kyatsu combines Kyande’s bold and mischievous “Kya” with tsuva’s calm and comforting “tsu.” The project fuses food, feline charm, and character expression into a unique, fun brand.

A playful mix of mischief and charm -spontaneous and attention-seeking, yet sweet and affectionate. Her design echoes her human form, Kyande no Hime, with warm, candy-toned colours and a caramel-orange palette full of energy and boldness.
Soft and dreamy, with a gentle, springlike presence. Inspired by her creator tsuva’s love for frills, ribbons, and all things cute, tsu blends pastel tones, seasonal motifs, and a serene elegance that captures her sweet, airy nature.

Her palette mixes peachy orange (#fcc88a, #f1ac63), soft lavender (#d9bdff), and cream (#f4fad0), echoing her playful, expressive nature. Pink tones (#ffc7bf, #ac4a64) highlight her ears, nose, and linework, tying back to her human form.
A white base (#ffffff) with pastel pink (#ffa7ef) and blue (#5099ec) in her eyes mirrors her soft, dreamy look. Nose and ear tones are a blush pink (#fbbcd7), with outlines in lavender-grey (#968bbf) or periwinkle (#5f4698) for gentle contrast.

Created unique cat designs for collaborators:

Hixixomori: spirit cat, reflects his support from afar, and zombie cat, a body his spirit cat returns to.

Nanoringo: apple-inspired design, reflecting the meaning of "ringo" りんご (apple) in Japanese.

Lotus.heads: alien cat with lotus hair clips, with colours inspired by her logo, and her love for aliens.
Each design reflects the distinct personalities and themes of the collaborators.
Conclusion
Through Project Kyatsu, I’ve shaped the visual identity of our brand by designing the characters, colour palettes, and artwork that bring each cat to life. From logo creation to illustration, I’ve contributed to every aspect of the project’s visual development, turning shared ideas into a cohesive and playful world.
